You can send us files via the internet using email or using
our FTP (File Transfer Protocol) site. Email is useful for small
files up to 2 MB such as a missing font, graphic, or document.
In most cases email will not be suitable for images because
of their file size. In these cases you would want to use our
FTP site.
Please note: Mental telepathy, ESP, or wishful thinking are
not approved file transfer methods.
Open your email program and attach the file you wish to send.
This can be done with a separate email program or from within
your web-based email provider. Try to limit the file size to
1 MB or 2 MB and email it to us at prepress@baltimorecolorplate.com Please remember to contact your sales rep or CSR after sending
your files.
We have installed a dedicated T1 and Unix web server that you
can use to FTP files to us directly or we can place files there
for you to download. Please call us at 410-823-9300 or 800-879-2271
to get your specific username and password.
Please let us know if you have sent a file via FTP by sending
us a hardcopy printout along with the job’s specifications.
